India Forum
Purpose
The India Forum is the senior, India-focused body within ASIFMA. It is responsible for definition and agreement of the priorities and strategy for ASIFMA. Key areas of focus broadly fall under local capital markets development and foreign portfolio investor access.There are three subgroups focusing on specific issues, being Custody, Operations/KYC, and Compliance. The India forum also collaborates with the Product Tax Committee on Indian tax matters as well as the Cyber/Data WG under the Public Policy Committee on cyber/data matters.
